Crackle-Featured-Originals

Features:

  • This is a great internet network that provides tv shows as well as full length movies that you can watch straight from your phone
  • You will be able to download a lot of free episodes as well as watch a variety of original series that have been created just for this network.  There are also a lot of minisodes that you can watch as well
  • You will be able to access titles according to their availability as well as with an upgrade to the premium services for five bucks a month
  • You have to be a bit careful though because there seems to be a few force close errors and also there is not a ton of extra content involved when you upgrade to the premium services

Conclusion:

This is a pretty sweet little tv network that has been created by Sony.  This is an internet entertainment network and is different than your other online tv stations because it actually has a bunch of shows that are unique to the network.  It includes shows like “So on and so forth”, “Why it Crackles”, and also “Charlie Murphy’s Crash comedy”.  One of the great things about this app is that you can watch all of these shows in high definition even over your mobile phone.  You will be able to stream full movies to your smartphone as well which is really nice.  The app does have a few gripes, however, including the fact that there isn’t really a lot of content.  For most of the titles on there you will have to upgrade to the premier service from Crackle which can be a bit pricey, ranging around 25 bucks for 6 months.  The app really does need more premium content in order for it to be more of a good deal.
This app has been given a rating of 3.5 out of 5 stars by Android app users that have actually tried it out and watched tv shows and movies over it.  The app has as free trial and then costs $4.99 for one month, $12.99 for 3 months, or $24.99 for six months worth.
