Conclusion:

Anything that Google touches seems to be gold and the same goes for this navigation app that comes default on most Android phones.  You will be able to get turn-by-turn directions at no cost to you and this can come in handy in a multitude of different scenarios.  You will also be able to get an extension to the default maps section that allows you to see the Driving areas, the traffic areas, the street view, the public transit system, directions for walking, a recalculation of the route if it is necessary, and also a satellite or two dimensional augmented view of where you are actually headed.  You can use the voice feature to help you find your destination or you can do it on written instructions.  You will also be able to search for any local businesses along the route if you would like to.  The only downsides to this app are that it is not available worldwide yet, and that the longer route is usually the one that ends up being taken for some reason.

This app has been given a rating of 4.7 stars out of 5 stars by Android app users who have downloaded the app on their phones and tried it out.  The other real bonus to this navigation app is that you can download it onto your phone for free.
