News Follower Android app Review

Description:

In the News Follower Android app you will be able to stay on top of all of the latest news stories to come out of Twitter and Google.  This is a news aggregate that allows you to browse through recent stories and decide whether you want to save your searches or discard them.  This is nice because you can go back to previous searches and look up things you have already searched.

One of the other nice things about the app is that you can access Google Alerts without having to sign up for an account.  Also, this version is a free version but there is a pro version coming out that will feature a few new features including notification, sharing, and even archive news.

• Right now there is only the free version that has the advertisement banners running across but there is an ad-free version that is coming out with archive news, notification, and also sharing options
  • You can also save search topics that you have previously done so that you can refer back to it at a later time
  • You can also use the remove option for any search topics that you would like to remove so that you can clear your history

  • If you find an article that you really like then you can tap on the artice and it will send you to the authors website to be able to read more of their work

Conclusion:

This is the best way to stay up to date with Google news while using the Android.  One of the nice things that you can do is to click on the article if you like it and read more from the content author’s site.  The only downside to the app is that it is very basic and doesn’t have a ton of features to boast of at the moment.

Voted 3.75 out of 5 stars by Android app users and is free to download off of the mobile Android app market.
